The Natural Areas Department took action and began their search for a VMS that checked all the boxes.
Not able to find an existing solution, Fort Collins Natural Areas partnered with local software development firm, Squarei Technologies, to build and support a state-of-the-art volunteer management system. Offero is the result of this collaboration. Motivated to earn a coveted Malcolm Baldridge Award, the highest presidential honor for performance excellence, City of Fort Collins leadership recognized the need for unified city engagement and expanded Offero into an enterprise-wide system which serves as the hub for everything related to volunteering and public participation for residents and city staff.
